I don't understand. Are you suggesting inserting a different leader at #7? If so, whom?

Now, now, I'm pretty sure the number 7 does exist in other contexts. It's just missing when you're talking about the PBEM list.

On topic, I like your list, DaveV. Only slight worry is that by picking leaders who can win, that removes a possible excuse if we don't wink.

Oh, yes, the game that must not be named. Sorry, that one went right past me.

Edit: even though my post came right after this one:

"Lack of skill" is always a valid excuse neenerneener.

Couldn't resist temptation. I'm in a giddy mood today.

Regarding the list, the list is good, the list is great, we surrender our will as of this date!

So, naming scheme?

How about 'things typically found in groups of seven'? neenerneener Colors, Octaves, Deadly Sins...

Or to fit this game...'things that are slow': tortoises, Friday Afternoons, Walking, Molasses

Or I guess we could go for something more inspiring.

My initial thought was that since this is the "Big" game, actors from the movie Big: Tom Hanks, Elizabeth Perkins, etc.

I don't know the movie: are we going to have to mine the credits for Key Grip and extras and so on once we get our first conquest?
