Is it that they have been overnerfed, or just that we're all aware that the nerf has been applied and we're afraid of it being an overnerf - reality or perception? (for that matter the Clan could be considered underrepresented based on past picks)

But I do think the "play a different civ" is a real motive in EitB games as well.

As always, anyone is free to weigh in on Calabim balancing in the v13 Wishlist thread. This is a very good time for it too, with opinions and enthusiasm high for the start of the game, but no one actually playing them that might be influenced by it.

Personally, they didn't fit with what I want to do this game, and I'm a bit reluctant to pick up a civ that's been changed significantly since the last time I played.

Oh cool, a day early. The map is ready but I won't be able to send it out until tonight.

Remind me... when setting up a PBEM: *don't check* Lock modified assets and *don't* set an admin password, right?

Actually I think it might be one of those "other side of the World" moments where it's Tuesday in NZ already ... at least I think it is!? Iiam

Lock modified assets is definitely a yes; less certain of admin password since I think REM just used it to unlock 74B. noidea

EDIT: Yes as in Don't Check. (Unclear first time, sorry!)

I'm almost certain we don't want an admin password. I've never set one for any of the games I've created.
