Ok, sounds like those of us who didn't overwrite (I've got a separate v12.1 folder) will need to overwrite the changes into their v12 folder to make sure they're there. I'll do that before playing my next save to check if that breaks anything.

Sooo, restart probably unnecessary?

I've got a separate folder too for v12.1... I wonder how it is possible that the game works as v12 for some and v12.1 for others (I mean it shows v12 for all, right? But some have v12 files updated and others don't). But I guess I'll update the files in my v12 now then if that fixes it?

EDIT: Okay, I updated my v12 files. Now I see the changes in the pedia too. Odd that it worked even without the changes...

I've got a separate folder for v12 that doesn't include the v12.1 changes. I really want to keep it that way, so I have a legacy of past versions, and it's especially important for v12 because most of those who play EitB won't have updated, and so it's important to keep maintained in case a bug is reported. Renaming v12 to v12 (OLD) would cause problems with loading files people send me.

So I would strongly prefer that we restart with the v12.1 name.
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.

Hmmm, there's people who have had events thus far that would get screwed out of their fortune by a restart...

How about y'all have a vote? I won't be able to send out a new T0 save for ~8 hours anyways.

I am opposed to a restart. It means losing half a week of turns for no real reason, and screws anyone who has benefited from an event. Just stick your old v12 folder on a cloud storage site or something, or take 15 seconds to rename it on the rare occasion that someone sends you a v12 file.
