The save I received had me as the Songhai player (on the save description), but it loaded as Persia. The save for Nicolae was also named after Askia/Songhai, but I think it's right.

Yeah, the save I got displayed the same thing originally, but it loaded and played the turn for my civ just fine. I just went with it. I assume that's normal?

I think it may need the save to do a full round first. In any case, as long as it loads and plays correctly, can be ignored

I got the time to download the turn and try to play it but it won't load
I clicked on "load game" in hotseat, started the save, then the game changes its settings (to account for the DLC differences) then it turns black and crashes. I tried trying again with the DLCs off from the start, or by changing my language to English, it stays the same. Any idea ?

I have no expertise, but perhaps try loading the game using a different directx option (I always get a window pop up about that when loading Civ 5). I seem to remember having such a problem, and working it out by just trying again and again, but I don't remember for sure...

Perhaps you are using a mod that changes some base configurations?

Perhaps you use a Mac and the game doesn't like it?

Just thinking about possibilities...

I'm on a PC. I tried changing the Directx. It didn't work

Perhaps someone can test the save for us, to see if it's a problem in Adrien's end or with the save.

Did you use the GMR client, or downloaded the save from their website?

Downloaded from the website, as I couldn't get the client to work
