Almost played 3 turns today but sadly it wasn't to be. frown

Joking aside, I agree that we should drop the timer down to 24h.

I've gona ahead and lowered the timer for next turn.

REM - just a heads up that I regularly bounce off you when you're in-game. I remember this happening sometimes in 33 as well. It's not a big deal at all right now while the turns are quick and relatively easy to play, but you might want to double-check the natneg setup to make sure you're all good for future reference.

Argh I know, I've tried quite a few times to get it to work and it never seems to work for more than a day. My computer does seem to regularly reset the files for some unknown reason, I believe it is that.

You probably have an antispyware program watching for changes to your hosts file and it changes it back on it's next scan.
It can't tell the difference between a valid entry and a bad one.

Try marking it a "read-only".

I am sorry to request this but could I get a server reset? Not sure what happened but I am getting a runtime error when trying to log into PB35 frown

EDIT: And I did try with a bootcamp native win7 version.

The server seems to have become pretty unhappy about 6-7 hours ago. Cal isn't sure that it's going to be saving games properly, so to avoid having to replay turns (especially where combat may be involved) it would be best if this game can be paused and no-one plays until the server can be restarted.

Paused as requested.

The server was having issues before the reboot, in a way that Caledorn said is indicative of an out-of-memory issue. This issue can cause corrupted save files. Therefore, I've reloaded saves at what should be a safe point back in time, roughly a day ago from the timestamp of this post.

This will result in some turns needing to be replayed, please check CivStats to see if you need to replay any of your turns.
