The dog eagerly takes the salt rations. His collar catches the lamplight; inscribed on the leather is SAINTS BLESSING, the name of the last ship lost. The dog, still weak, nonetheless struggles to his feet and licks your hand.

Robern wonders if there is any way to get information out of the dog. He could just follow it of course

While the dog is taking time to drink and recover, the Ranger searches the area it has been living to see if there is anything else of interest
The chamber is a natural cave, considerably widened and worked; it is some 10ft high, 20ft wide, and 40ft long. To the rear of the room the cave narrows and winds downward into darkness. The crates and barrels here are empty, most of them smashed. From the lack of spoor, it seems like the dog didn't exclusively stay here.

Ok, I cant see anything else here, so I guess we push on. My vote is to bring Saint along with us, maybe he can smell something out and lead us in the right direction?
Now we are entering tight areas, do we need to think about how we move as a group at this point? While I am good with a bow, looking around i seem to be one of our frontline fighters in this group. Can I suggest I push on with Saint up front, Robern covers our rear, and we keep the casters in the middle? Anya if you shine the lantern over my shoulder as we go? |
