Cautiously descending the rough stairs, you hear nothing but the sound of your own footsteps. The stairs end and you are in an earthen tunnel some twenty feet long; at the other end is a strange doorway wedged between four yellowed spurs of bone. Behind the door, you hear a deep voice chanting.
Knowledge (Nature) check to determine what it is you're looking at here.
The door has a single keyhole and there are four different keys hanging on a cord before, each with a different shape on the handle; a fish, the full moon, a grinning skull, and a nautilus shell. There is a carved message above the cord:
Quote:The key is greater than the Outsider.
The key is more evil than the lands.
The impoverished have the key.
The wealthy lack for the key.
To consume the key is death.

Anya recognizes the bones as being the very front of a vast whale's skull.

Lucas looks on at the door and the locks with some puzzlement The bones are the head of a whale, seems this is the temple of this cult, the keys though I am not sure about, maybe the grinning skull?
He looks on to the others for confirmation as he reaches towards the skull key

"Wait! I believe the clue to be nothing". Robern explains his reasoning from his experience working with nobles and seeing poverty on his travels. "Let us first try opening it without using any key, and only then resort to the skull. Also, once we are through, we should try and take the speaker on the other side captive, he sounds useful".
