Quote:2) opening a thread to its newest post and replying to a post in-thread both take two clicks when they took one before. Maybe a feature but to me experience worsening.

Can you clarify what the previous shorter workflow was?

I think this problem is an issue of unrealized renaming. Before you could hit quote to immediately open a reply box with the quote, or hit a different button (don't remember the name) to collect a list of posts to quote. However now the reply buttonon is the button that allows you to quote a single post (the current quote button collect multiple posts to quote).

Maybe change the current reply button to quote and the current quote button to multi-quote or something? Make it clear to everyone how many posts are being quoted.

The funny thing is the previous reply button was named "reply", and the multi-quote button didn't have a name before  crazyeye I'll rename it "multi-quote", maybe that will help for clarity.

On my iPad, when you click a button the tooltip is displayed. Then I have to click again to actually trigger the action. Best mouseover substitute I've seen, but maybe what Sunrise is referring to.
I have to run.

Correct, what novice says. Similarly if I click the arrow to open a thread to the newest unread post before it would just load the thread, now there's a pop up that says 'open to newest post' or the like, and I have to click an additional time to actually load the page. So for me it's an added click for 90% of the threads I open.

Ahh, I understand now then. I'm not certain where it is located in the configuration to have the first click show the tooltip on iPad. It seems to me that for our usage it would work to just disable that.

Also now that I have my iPad out I'm seeing those theme issues you were talking about novice, I think some colors are defined in WebKit which iPad doesn't utilize? I'll work on fixing those later.

Thank you for dealing with this stuff!

There is one major and one minor thing I find annoying about the new theme.

The big one is I find the old top-of-post-content border to be superior to the new one (see screenshot below). For two reasons: the background color difference draws the eye to the right place on the old one, and the date line draws the eye to the wrong place in the new one. Is there a way we can get back that color contrast and/or not have the date line be left-aligned directly above the post content?

The minor thing is that I find the font that you can see being used for the username (it's also used in many other places) to be ugly, because it's horizontally compressed. How about using a different font? (Looks like we are using "Roboto Condensed". How about normal Roboto?)

Seven: Fixed the post headers around a lot on all themes, and took out the roboto condensed font. How's it look now?

Great improvement, thank you!

I am still seeing Roboto Condensed in various other parts of the UI. E.g. the "Administrator" under your name; "Quick Reply", "Multiquote", "My Portal", etc. Would it be reasonably doable to change those too?

I just noticed there are drop shadows on ALL the text. I think this actually makes it harder to read - especially post contents. What do you guys think?

Thx for the border shave. I might have been a tad aggressive with the 40% off ... but it is much better than it was.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I'm still seeing drop shadow. It's coming from new.css in the rule for .newposts { text-shadow: 0px 1px 1px #171717; }
