Civ 6 Release and Update Discussion Thread

Game is live and loading now.

Lots of game files are in XML, and there's an option when starting a multi-player game to enable mods.  dancing

Map scripts are in Lua, so someone go learn Lua.

Lots of basic achievements (win a game on a difficulty setting/with a leader/on a map script/with a victory type), but also some neat creative ones. I'm pretty tickled by the Ninja Turtles.

Ah, it's available at last. I see they've cut the bit where Christopher launches his baton into the crowd (see that he has it before the tubular bells close-up section at the end, and doesn't have it afterwards). lol

This game looks like utter ass on my computer.

I have a really hard time reading the map and units, but I expect that will come with time.

So multiplayer options are Internet, LAN and Hotseat. Not Pitboss, no PBEM. Also you can't rename cities in release version (although they said it's "on the way")
