Civ 6 - Number for growth / border expansion

I've written down the numbers for growth and border expansions that are available through some UI-mods that float around. For those interested, I've used

Custom City Panel as well as QuickUI

though QuickUI is changing quite a bit more stuff, some I'm not so keen on.

Anyway, on to the numbers:

Grow to - Food
size      required

  1. --- 0
  2. --- 15
  3. --- 24
  4. --- 33
  5. --- 44
  6. --- 55
  7. --- 66
  8. --- 77
  9. --- 89
  10. -- 101
  11. -- 114

# of    - Culture
tiles     required

  1. --- 10
  2. --- 20
  3. --- 35
  4. --- 52
  5. --- 72
  6. --- 93
  7. -- 115
Didn't get any more numbers yet, but maybe its helpful to some of you who'd like to be able to plan better.

Those food growth numbers are exactly the same as Civ 5.

Civ 5 has food multipliers, they're just not buildings. The Landed Elite policy, the Tradition finisher, and We Love The King Day.

I agree, but CIV6 other than a wonder or two, are there any?

You can gain food in other ways in Civ6, for example trade routes etc
In my mind, food is not the issue for city growth, it's initially housing and then amenities (ok, I play AW so trade with other AIs is somewhat limited)

Don't the Housing and / or Amenities ratios have some multiplying effect (other than downwards at low numbers)

@Dreylin, you're right, I had forgotten, Amenities can give up to a 20% bonus I think on food yields and +10% on non-food yields. I don't know if an abundance of housing does anything for you...

Housing abundance does nothing. Nearing your housing limit puts a much more dramatic hard stop on than being slightly behind on amenities, though.
