I'm thoroughly enjoying this new 'get off my lawn' game you're playing. That's a lot of rifles.
One small lurker request: BURN THE WORLD DOWN.

Taking a break from eating stuffing to say there is a second wave incoming. REM is trying to fork PC and KND. I put the bare minimum of defenders in KND to hold off the 12 2-movers in reach, and positioned everything else to move to defend either city next turn after he shows his hand. He has about 30 cavalry, 8 cannons, and a few rifles filing in, split among three stacks. What I wouldn't give for cannons right now....

Well there's not much we can do about that. We probably don't have enough siege or rifles to consider attacking out but with cannons on the field we're also going to lose if we just camp in the city so idk...
Maybe we can hope someone else gets involved? The peace treaties that mackoti/scooter forced upon REM should be expiring soon if they haven't already, and scooter is whipping a whole lot of something. Then again, there's no guarantee they won't DOW on us instead of REM. Just gotta keep drafting. Maybe we can go for Naval Strike again if losing our front is inevitable?

Turn 274
The Aftermath:
1 solitary rifle left. What a slaughter.
What can I say, but that I hate cavalry and I really hate cannons. 30 rifles dead with only 5 cannons and 2 cavalry killed in return.
The back our our defense is broken now. He can sweep over the rest of our cities with impunity.
The least we can do is leave no pop for him to work with
Yes, that city did once top the scoreboard.
Oh well, I'll keep pumping HE rifles into No Copper and hold out there for awhile to give REM War Weariness. Hopefully Mack or Scooter wins this thing. In the meantime, I'll keep drafting and slaving rifles, and deleting workers before they can be captured. Well played REM.
Twilight for the Map Complainers:
It's been real folks.

Oh well, we saw this coming the moment he refused peace. If anything we lasted a lot longer than I thought we would have done.
If we lost everything defending PC then there's practically no chance we can defend anything else on the mainland (Peaks has some potential but not if we don't have the troops to do so). Hopefully someone will come and finish us off reasonably quickly so we don't have to play OCC for the rest of the game.
Let me know if/when you want me to play some turns. Apart from that I can't think of much else worth updating the thread for so I'll sign off in an appropriate way:

So sad that Plains Cow, once the mightiest city in all of Mapmaker's Fault, is now reduced to this.
Thanks for some very entertaining reporting.
