Yes.

FWIW I think Dp was right originally that the mindmeld is a town tell, albeit a weak one, on Winston and me.

Oh what I would give for 2 more hours of sleep

So even though I recognised that I was wrong and went back on my read, I still get voted for it? Like, are you just assuming that scum are the only people who will ever make bad reads or something? Me being an idiot is an integral part of my town game, and I really don't like votes that are just because someone is bad. My vote is not moving.

The problem is that you didn't come to that recognition on your own, but had it pointed out to you. Yes, it's nice that you are able to recognize your mistakes, but you have to realize that this is something scum would do. Reach for an argument, get their hand slapped, then try to shake it off. The getting "confused" when someone calls it fishy just makes it smell worse.

had to have it pointed out to you rather.

I understand your perspective, and I agree that I should have figured it out by myself, I'm just curious as to how you would expect a town player to react there, since something about how I handled it must have pinged you as not being naturally town.

What bothers me the most is the way you suddenly had 4/7 people as town for literally no logical reason. I think it's possible that you tried to buddy up with people by declaring them town, then realized that your argument for declaring them town didn't hold and tried to backtrack.

To be fair, it was more like 3/6 since 4/7 counts me as well, but I see your point. Nevertheless, I don't see why you think I would be the kind of wolf to try and get half the town to vote with me from midway through D1. In my previous wolf game here, I don't recall myself having enough self-confidence to even think I could pull something like that off, and I feel that that was obvious from the way that I wrote both in the wolf thread and in the post-game discussions. Basically, your idea that that makes me mafia would fit much better on another player, as I don't feel like the way you have described my moves is characteristic of my scum game.

I wouldn't say "try and get half the town to vote with you" but rather creating goodwill on their part. There's also the possibility that you were trying to get townpoints for your buddy.

But don't worry I'm not set you. Maybe Gazglum can participate ? He's still on my watchlist

So Adrien, do you seriously believe that calling three players town this early is something scum would do?
