Really? I think Gaz is being his normal Towny Gazy self, and Lewwyn comes across very defensive. Kind of like someone else I know. Then again, I've not had nice thoughts about Lewwyn most of the game, so I suppose it's not surprising.

I agree that it is defensive, but I feel that there is some legitimate scumhunting in there too. Also, you reckon we should just go down the claim order, skipping Lew for now?

I mean scumhunting in that he isn't just defending, but seems like he thinks he has caught a scum in Gaz. My progression on him basically goes townish-locktown-townish-potential scum. Also, again, thoughts on changing the claim schedule?

I'm not sure to be honest. The order novice put down is basically my list from most scummy to most town, so I'm hesitant to give Lewwyn a pass, though there is some empathy for being behind on grading while trying to play. My concern is Lewwyn is scum, and not forcing him to claim first gives him better opportunities to hide. I'm willing to go with a consensus though.

The way I see it, the sooner we claim the sooner we can start discussing the claims/counterclaims (and there will almost certainly be one given the ratio of remaining town/remaining vanilla town).

Team is Gaz/Novice, both have been sending me scum vibes but I cannot rationalise why they seem scummy, Gaz was very quick to defend Novice against something that could be seen as mild suspicion at best from me postlynch, and Novice conveniently placed the 2 of them at the back of the line for claiming. This is mostly tinfoil, but I just needed to write it out.

At this point I am having severe difficulties staying awake, and it doesn't look like lew will be around to claim before me, so I see no reason to not claim now and give people the maximum possible time to discuss claims. Therefore, I am the cop and attempted to scan Jabbz last night, but was roleblocked. Hopefully my desire to give the cop one more scan makes more sense now, as it was an entirely selfish request to give myself one more shot at glory. As is, if we somehow survive I am getting NK'd every time.

If you're the cop, it's 50/50 at worst. Scum would have to decide whether you were going to be protected, or whether the Dr. would protect themselves. More to the point however, I find it odd that you would be blocked. I've thought of you as many things, but potentially the cop was not on that list. Still, I suppose we see who counter claims. I'm up for a while, so I'll wait a while before I claim, still irritated that Lewwyn isn't claiming, but I guess it's understandable :/

Well, I am very sorry Lewwyn. This game did start faster than I expected too, and presuming you've rolled the team I think you've rolled, I can see you wouldn't have had the time. But having rolled them, I feel like you've just rolled over here.

I especially like that you spent your short window of opportunity writing out a relatively lengthy meta-argument about killing Winston, rather than answering the more pertinent question of what your case against Jabbz is, or, you know, actually skimming the rest of the thread to see the claiming discussion.

I assume that the team is Lewwyn and DP. I'm guessing Lewwyn wants to delay until I claim, then he will counterclaim the same as me and try and go head-to-head. But it is difficult to press a case against the man who wasn't there.
