In return, my own apologies for pushing too hard for things that were correct (e.g. Genevieve is a film) over things people were made to think of by the clue (e.g. Genevieve sounds Shakespearean). The game is about generating the correct answers, after all, not about being correct.

I might have been tempted to go for it anyway. Losing a word to the opponents isn't the end of the world if it gets you 4 words clued that can be caught up later.

English, I'm afraid. (Incidentally it says I'm in the UK in my forum profile.) I was beginning to wonder if you were French. Or perhaps French Canadian given your time zone. smile

I'm not entirely sure what would have been a better alternative: Chopping 2 risks Aztec, another cooking term for blocks of vegetables would have been equally arcane, and I'm drawing a blank on what other characteristics of carrots I could try to associate from. Frustrating round for all of us.

I think Diced might work here, to steer us away from the objects and towards the food preparation method.

Overall, fun round, if frustrating at times. Lots of thrills and spills and a big comeback at the end. Can we sell the movie rights?

Bob is their guy. It's between Azoth and you for red team, Rho.

Yes, I'll spymaster for red. I'm sure it'll go well.
Seriously though, I'm on the blue team.  lol

I believe it's Azoth or sunrise for red.

I keep telling myself, "Don't post at 4 in the morning. You can't think then."

But why don't I listen? Because it's 4 in the morning.
