The turn pace has slowed down again lately ... I know I was one of the first to hold it but to quote Dave;

The whole PBEM system is built on the trust that players will prioritize playing the game. Once the attitude of "the last guy took forever, I'm not going to rush to play my turn" starts, it's death spiral time.

I know RL interferes and mistakes happen at times, that's understandable. Last time we said something though there was a definite uptick, so I thought I'd try.

Apologies- got the turn just before work yesterday and totally forgot about it. Will play in about 6 hours when I'm home.

Yeah, agreed with TBS. RL stuff happens, but we've been getting quite a lot "I forgot to play my turn" comments lately which just sucks. If everyone just checked the tracker at least once a day during their play window that problem could disappear.

Well in the interests of setting expectations, an advanced warning: Wife & I are doing Valentines tomorrow night, which almost certainly means I won't get the turn played early in my window, and may mean it doesn't get played until Friday. Apologies in advance if not.

EDIT: no problem getting tonight's turn though.

Thanks for pushing guys! I know I'm as guilty as well wrt forgetting turns. FYI, next two weeks I may be playing turns late. If the save's there, I'll play before going to bed, but that could be pretty late (working a due diligence for private equity).

Q had issues attaching the save. He sent in to me in PM. I sent it now to tracker (to TBS), hopefully there's no issues with the tracker due to this? I don't think so, but just making sure...

Might as well mention it now- there's a (hopefully) very likely chance that I'll be without desktop access for a 12-week period starting at some point in late April, for work-related reasons. That's obviously too long for the game to be paused, so I'll either need a sub (or, more likely, permanent replacement) or to convert to AI control at that point.

Also a heads up that I'm driving out Thursday for a long weekend; shouldn't be an issue while I'm away*, but might not feel up to a turn Thursday night.

I'm working long days in the US Central time zone. Bob and Dreylin pushed the turn through last night . Tomorrow will probably be going out about the same time, and Friday will most likely be even later.
