KETCHUP seems certain.
You buy tomatoes by the POUND.
Lots of people grow them in their YARD.
Slice them with a KNIFE.
There are lots of different varieties, probably produced by CROSS breeding.
There might be a SPOT on its skin.
Is a tomato a type of BERRY?

I can't say I like any of those alternatives for second choice; I'm hoping my teammates will come up with something.

Ketchup is obvious.

Pumpkin is another fruit that's used as a vegetable
Sometimes have Spots on
Often cut with a Knife
Can be Cross-breeds
Berries are also fruits

Think I'd go for Ketchup then Pumpkin.

After reading DaveV's spoiler:
Hmm, I like Pound too, though it's only likely in backward places that still use imperial. smile  Warrior Knight is at GMT+8 (China?), which speaks against it a bit.
I don't think tomatoes are technically berries. They do look quite berry-like though.

Still prefer Pumpkin as the second word, just about.

I like berry using the t-hawk system - if we go the other way a 'ketchup berry' is exactly a tomato, right? I guess I'm also ok to pass.
