There's no way the barbs get close to Lib against good human players. They wouldn't have beaten BGN if it had been an MP game and he was pushing for it, for instance; I assume in his SP game he was sandbagging for a better tech, watching the AIs' research and unaware the barbs would (or could) steal it from him.
Meanwhile in actual game events, Mr. Cairo seems to be oblivious to the bulbs the PHI civs are pulling off. He's talking about Liberating Nationalism, slow-teching Gunpowder, and attacking GJ with drafted Muskets five techs down the line while TBS is setting up a much-faster Lib bulb and GJ is apparently about to start spamming Knights right now ... very likely for the purpose of claiming Mr. Cairo's land.
Looks like lots of pauses have slowed down the game a bit, no updates for a Looong time :P ....

Could someone double check if no city razing was selected when they uploaded my map?
(I mean settings inside the pitboss) I feel like someone would already have noticed if something was amiss. My intent was to keep razing as an option (tho I think they agreed not to raze the holy cities idk) Use black swords thread as a reference and also the tech thread, for those curious to my inquiry.
There's nothing preconfigured in the WB save I loaded on the server during game setup about city razing. The pitboss client running now doesn't show the game options. They are only available during initial setup. The only things that can be changed now are the turn timer and the MotD. Maybe a player can show their settings via F8 in game?
