I accept your apology and regret becoming so frustrated earlier.
This reinforces my earlier belief that prohibiting all forms of communication between players is detrimental to the game. It cannot be good for players to be unable to discuss in-game concerns such as this.
I also apologize to everyone for inappropriately sharing some information(in spoilers below) with Q(without his cooperation) earlier today. At the time, I honestly did not expect the game to be able to continue past this, and allowed my irritation to get the better of me.

I tested a wide variety of Balseraph-specific tools looking for opportunities I could use to gain an advantage. I never considered that I was taking advantage of a bug with Hall of Mirrors. I do not believe I ever saw Bob's report on HoM that Dave linked to.
My belief was that I had discovered massive potential in an unexplored feature. Hall of Mirrors cost 120 hammers each and require an 80 hammer Carnival.
OF COURSE the units would be permanent. Why on earth would it be worth constructing for temporary units, and only if the enemy conveniently is willing to park directly next to a city that has a Hall of Mirrors?
That being said... it's something of an RB FFH tradition to find unexplored game mechanics and figure out how to break them in half.
I fully intended to copy Apocalypse Horsemen if I had the opportunity. If my actions in this game caused Hall of Mirrors to become banned in future FFH/EITB games(alongside Keelyn/etc.) I would have considered that an accomplishment.

Illusions or not, that path was always going to be blocked.
