Good news is that yuris won't have had time to forget his reasoning before the end of the game
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Agreed. I think Sulla was expecting a concession so much he assumed it didn't matter what he built in his core (a campus in Ravenna? chop a knight or legion). Sulla could finish off Teh, heal, upgrade to muskets, and sail over to Yuris' capital to end the game. Then the fighting in the middle doesn't really matter.
I don't know if Sulla will take that risk. He doesn't know what is over there and hasn't been planning it for 80 turns. On the other hand I didn't expect him to realize he could sweep through Teh's lands so easily either.
Having now seen what Sullla has in store for yuris... I think maybe some of us were overestimating yuris.
Sullla probably knows what yuris is bringing, and also knows that even if he just sits back and plays SimCity, there's no way yuris can pose a credible threat.

Here comes the broken record.....this game was over the moment Yuris attacked teh, hoping to threaten him with his 'mighty' army. Ever since, he has been playing a different game than what can be seen when reading the demographics.

Everyone take note of Sullla's comments in his T109 report:

Given Civ 6's movement rules and 1UPT, it might make sense to spread out an attack, to give everyone room to manoeuvre and to avoid jams. The corollory of that is that it becomes exceedingly hard for units to support each other. Note also that Yuris was essentially in a line formation. While not wrong per se, the ends of lines are very vulnerable, and Yuris placed one such right where Sullla had much of his army.
I like Sullla's mass building of horsemen. They can get to the front fast, and can act as mass support to the knights and screeners for the crossbows.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

I have to give this to Civ6, though the unit crowding seems really annoying, the tactics of it all seem interesting, and at least something you have to put a decent amount of thought into.

Stack composition and location was always another dimension in itself. It's good to see that tactics aren't gone with the removal of that, though.
(Mostly playing Devil's Advocate here, and a bit tired at the implication that Civ 4 tactics required no thought.)

Given the scales purportedly covered, it also bugs to ever-living stew out of me, but that ship=sailed.
How would Civ6 play with Civ1 stacking rules?

There is some limited stacking in Civ6, from units to corps to armies. We just haven't gotten to that phase of the game.

Yuris just offered concession, it seems that this PBEM is over now.

It has been since the´s first attack on Sullla was interrupted by Yuris, if you ask me.
