Civ 6 PBEM 2 Organizing Thread

Interesting point, since PBEM1 also got an patch midway the game, one of most important changes was decreasing strength of swordsman from 40 to 36.
This however didn't apply to Roman legion whose strength stayed at 40, which makes Sulla's legions more dangerous than perceived firstly when they started PBEM.

There is one thing though, I don't know how turn off updates. At steam I only see two options: option to always auto update or only update when I start up the game.
So if I am playing civilization, there is always an update.

Maybe it is a moot point because you can't turn them off. I never really looked into it but have heard people mention it in other forums. Quick Google search say you can't turn them off anymore. Does anybody know if you can turn them off?

With questions regarding weekend playtime. I have no major plans for the weekend besides the occasional cafe visit/ buying groceries etc...

I should be available from 9pm to 12am (depending on the rotation I can extend that to 1am). Of course, we are now almost 30 turns into the game, hence every turn would take a little longer and follow up turns do require some thinking, so the whole pace might be slower.

I can be available on Saturday from 8-11. I think around the t40/t45 mark or so, blitzes like this won't really be feasible while allowing people to really figure out what they're doing each turn, but I feel like we have one more speedy session in us.

Only saw the first line of your report in my email before realizing what it was, and it didn't pertain to me, so no harm there. I consider it a small miracle that I haven't made a similar error in my time posting here, it happens.
