It probably affected me, and I was a asleep. 
Ah, something very peculiar indeed also. It seems the barbarian move is calculated after me, if I end turn, I do not see but hear if the barbarians attack me.

If I am not wrong the turn order is: Civs (Players), city states, barbarians
The one thing I do not really fancy is that you do not really know what happens during the IT. You only see the outcome AFTER it and have to make conclusions yourself. Or is there a log we can access?

Funny, I have heard the alert of barbs showing up after I end my turn. I guess we now know the benefit of going last is you can tell if someone is getting attacked by barbs.

Agreed, this is one of my biggest issues with this game set up is that you don't see what the AI (barbs & CS) are doing. You have to figure it out after.

Hmm, had hoped to get maybe 3 turns done this evening. 3 turns planning isn't an issue. After that, maybe people would need longer to think about their strategy...
