Any thoughts on who is more likely to complete Petra? I think Woden has done a pretty amazing job reading the situation and realizing that he'll be competing with ole davey for it and he does have China's builder ability to rush it along but he also does have a number of competing priorities. On the flip side if Davey has to prioritize military production he may not be able to focus as much on Petra either. In any case I could see it being a huge loss of cogs if one of them gets close but can't finish it.

Yes, it will be interesting to see. Woden has a clear production edge, while Oledavy has a clear research edge and lead. If Oledavy can get to Mathematics without having to pick up too many military techs (like IW) I think he can get it, especially if Woden feels militarily pressured by Alhambra.
Hong Kong also has the advantage of already being a decent production city, with two forests in first and second rings, as well as a jungle and several more third-ring forests, that can be chopped into Petra. Given that Woden is talking about a T70 timeframe for even starting Petra, so I think Oledavy is in the lead right now. He's not far from the Mathematics Eureka, so can start circa T55-60.

Rooting for Woden here, so I really hope he misses Petra...

The grammar is at odds with what you're trying to say here

Nope! I mean it. Setting 400 shields on fire...

Impressive C&D work and analysis by Woden about Oledavy, especially since they haven't even met. But I think it also showcases one of the things that make Civ 6 more boring than Civ 4, in that the tech trees are much more linear.

I'm a little surprised Oledavy didn't harvest the stone in Schuyler. If he had done it right, he might have had another warrior and gotten most of a wall there, or a nearly finished encampment.

Dissappointed that Archduke isn't committing to attacking oledavy. Maybe he doesn't realize how hard it is to get crossbows?
Also not sure what to make of the lavra strategy. Seems to be a long term losing proposition since it doesn't contribute to research or production

So is Oledavy's campus on a hill tile? Looks like Bacchus and Singaboy both assume its flatland. The map hides information, yes, but can't a mouseover show that at least?
*edit: Yep, it's on a hill from Davy's old reports. That's going to cost Singaboy his super-sword to burn, isn't it?
At least they aren't bumbling around and letting the runaway farmer his way to victory. Kind of amazing how little they seem to be able to do about him, though. Not sure how much of that is Davy's skill vs. the game system.
Woden's update made me a little sad. He's gone off to a very solid start but I can't imagine his planned half dozen wonders will do him better than, say, the Pyramids and five more cities.

A mouseover does show it. Tactical view shows it clearly without the need to mouseover.
