I intensely mistrust the fog, and I'm probably going to be checking west to see if settling off the coast works,  but that whole nasty toroidal small? Definitely Napoleon of Sumer.

Sorry for the incomplete BFC information. I'm going to pin that on a novice mapmaker's oversight. Everybody had part of their BFC in fog and in the interest of giving complete information so you can make an informed choice, I've decided to just share what's in the fog.

There is a riverside grass rice located 2 tiles west of the settler.
