I'd like to really encourage people to test the banishing rules. I consider the AI to be significantly too weak right now with the banishing rules, but, I also play with a very fast playstyle. I'm primarily concerned with hard difficulty - although extreme and impossible to lesser extents also feels like a problem. (I DO like the ability for a banished wizards to cast spells in combat, and I think this has been done very well.)

When we're looking at the graphs, what does spell power actually represent? Specifically, how do heroes in your capital and spellweaver affect it?

Spell Power is skill+researched spells with some weighting.
Spellweaver will increase the skill part by 50%.
Heroes I think are not included as they are not part of the wizard's own skill, they are part of the "end of turn skill".
btw Historian is Army+power income+empire population. Spell Power is not included.

When AI is deciding to attack you because you are too weak/too strong, which stat do they use? Historian?

If I have Holy Arms in play, and I cast Chaos Channels on a normal unit, will it still benefit from Holy Weapon? (I'm primarily asking because I cannot cast Holy Weapon due to having Holy Arms in play. I want to buff the heck out of my units, then cast Chaos Channels, then cast Chaos Surge, but the Chaos Surge bonus is weaker than the Holy Arms bonus.)

Good question. I don't remember anymore. Fastest way to find out is to start a wizard with the two spells, PWR and cast them then attack the nearest node.

Yeah I've got both in my game, but I have virtually nothing left to fight. I'll see if I can figure it out. Which do you want to happen? (I'm assuming holy arms should work, otherwise doom mastery + chaos surge + holy arms causes strange occurrences of AI wanting to dispel its own spells)

Confirmed: At the moment, chaos channels + holy arms means the unit does NOT get holy weapon. Which I think should be changed. (Otherwise, there will be times that having doom mastery + chaos surge is.. a worse choice than holy arms. Which doesn't make sense, especially if it's a life/chaos AI.)
