Thanks for letting us know.

@TheArchduke, do you have issues these days playing your evening turn? Would be nice to at least let the rest of us know.

Not doing this on purpose, and if I can tell you in advance I try to do so.

Hmm, looks like I'm not going to get my turn before I head out, won't be able to play again until tonight, sorry.

Saw this from Ed Beach on Twitter:

Quote:Existing saves are fully playable but not all balance changes kick in until you start a fresh game.

Looks like not all the changes from the Patch will effect our game. I did check the Settler's cost and it did not change, so that is one.

we can now guess which ones make it and which ones don't.

The settler cost has gone up for me this turn, the first settler being 80 hammers (no change), the second costs 110 hammers.

@Singaboy, can you double check that next turn or if you still have the previous save. My next settler is still 100 cogs. I also checked and Press Gangs and Urban Defenses did move. It is too ealy to check the other balance changes.

Edit: I would suspect the changes that impact cog costs did not change (i.e. Settlers, Archers, District/Buildings) or at a minimum, the ones that scale (Settlers, Districts).

@Woden,

sure, I can take a screenshot and insert it here with the hammer cost. I do hope that things like +2 gold for plantations are in. Such things influence gameplay and they better be in.

I am curious whether district pillaging is still the same, nothing documented.

This is from my current turn. Can everyone confirm that their settler costs have gone up as well?

This was from my last turn...

This is weird. Same game, different costs. If you are currently building one (no need to answer), one possibility is that for some reason the increased costs show up after you put a turn into it (?).

Hmm i forgot to check, usually I don't pay much attention to what a unit costs so much as how many turns away it is, haven't noticed any unexpected turn-numbers though...
