Thank you for dropping by and the encouragement  

I am actually still quite motivated but due to some changes in my work and living situation very occupied at the moment.

Sadly this led to me spending less time on this game as well which results in more mistakes on my part. I recently lost 2 Archers very unnecessarily

However I will try to run this game as best as possible with the limited time available.

I will definetly be more engaged and able to join for games again starting from february.

I will give an update on that soon in the organization thread

Sorry for my disappearance, I've been super busy with the new job. I'm glad you were able to find a solution for the turnplaying duty, I can keep up with PBEM 77 but as I sort of expected I can't take over another game.

No worries, I can completely understand as I am currently way over my head into my occupation as well

I manage to have an irregular look at the CIV4 game but as I am inexperienced with CIV4 so it is hard for me to guess the relative situation.

It might come up that I am off the grid for a couple days frequently until January. Especially between the 10th and 20th Dec.
Do you mind me checking with you if you can find the time to get the game along?

It mostly boils down to playing the turns as none of us 2 has the time for reporting

Masonry wasn't finished so I had the builder wait this turn. The warrior in Kikyo attacked the English warrior next to the city, I think Suboptimal's swordsman will make short work of him in the interturn. The archer shot Suboptimal's archer.

Religion founded. Ichabod won't have such an easy time now that he's fighting units with +10 strength.

FYI Ichabod proposed peace if we let him have the two cities he conquered. I refused of course, he'll have to keep the occupation penalty.

Yes, if we want to keep the game at least a bit open for the others despite my blundering the early game we need to deny Ichabod our cities. Although even without he has a huge headstrong with the available territory and his +4 campus.

Maybe we should build another settler and run him as far to the east as possible?

I can take over again but you can play the next turns as well if you like. From Cusco I will likely do two multi day hikes during which it would be perfect if you could continue the game.
The dates however are still unknown.

I played the turn, there is not a lot to do sadly.

We basicallz lost the game when I built a monument instead of a couple Warriors in Shido, I largelz underestimated gods of the forge.
