It's on all our lists for our first sci-fi guess, so

I favour MERCURY next, as our strongest Scifi word. rho and sunrise had it in their top three for this round. Lewwyn?
After that it's a tossup between PRINCESS/SOLDIER/MISSILE (possible Engagement/Scifi overlap) and PLOT.

Mercury is Blue

Okay. Here's a theory. The fact that we weren't given an unlimited clue is itself a clue.
Engagement 3 suggests that there is only one word of overlap between Scifi and Engagement.
i.e. One and only one of PRINCESS/SOLDIER/MISSILE is blue.
That's why the clue was so ambiguous. It suggests that the other two Scifi words are completely unrelated to Engagement, i.e. PLOT and ANTARCTICA.
So we should guess one of them next, and leave Dp to tie up the remaining two words with his last clue.

Soldier or princess?

I vote soldier.

I also agree on plot and antartica.

No, I mean if we're not sure whether it's PRINCESS or SOLDIER, but we're pretty sure the other two words are PLOT and ANTARCTICA, then we should guess one of PLOT/ANTARCTICA now, and leave Dp to clarify which one of PRINCESS/SOLDIER it is with his next clue. And since ANTARCTICA is easier to clue than PLOT, that suggests to me that we should use our +1 on PLOT.

It might be difficult for him to reclue princes or soldier though, shouldn't we take a shot on one of those to get the grey out of the way? unless you think antartica might be grey?

I think I favor Princess here. I'm not disputing the logic, but I'm not very confident in Plot and so I think I'd rather eliminate the word I have the strongest lean on.

The lack of an unlimited clue surely means that our previous Sci-fi inclinations weren't going to get us to the right place, and were probably going to produce a red or a black. Mercury felt like a safe guess from Sci-fi, but none of the others feel all that certain. I'd much rather we guess something tied to Engagement. If we get it right, we only have 2 words left and there will probably be a clue for them. If we get it wrong, there are lots of ways of helping us:
3-clue = find these three, ignore our previous preference
2-clue = guess these two plus our favourite previous word (probably the other Engagement one)
unlimited clue = 1 related to this clue and our two previous preferred words

All assuming we get another turn, anyway.

So I prefer Soldier or Princess, no particularly strong preference between them.
