A shared thread would enable some communication and analysis making the game at least for me more fun.

@oledavy,
Just a heads up, probably won't be able to play until later tonight (~8 or 9 pm ), after I get home from trick-or-treating.

As an aside, I am also going to need a break after this game, but I'm going to want to try another after the holidays, maybe with DLC civs.
I am not super wild about a teamer, but I was thinking maybe we try a really large game, I'm thinking 8 players. It would be a big commitment from everyone, and we certainly wouldn't be able to do two turns a day, but the scale might be really fun. We would need to make sure we only have people who can commit reliably for the 4-8 months it would take though.

@Archduke - this will sound weird, but would you mind changing the name of Toronto back to it's original name?
I'm probably going to end up liberating it in the next couple turns, and I recall there was a bug with that (liberating a city-state whose name had been changed) in CIV5. I can totally imagine them not fixing it for this game

Is it a bug because you want to free it? Funnily enough I wanted to do that too until I got the feeling war with you is next on the agenda.
Can do that.

I can't launch the game currently, tried to update my graphic card driver etc, nothing works. An hour earlier, it was launching without any issues. Anyone had this issue before?
Goodness, a complete re-install did the trick

Ended up taking it this turn. I guess Toronto will be known as whatever you named it for awhile

Anyone encounter a bug where a unit that auto-upgraded in queue loses all its hammers when you swap off of it and later swap back?

@oledavy, yes I do remember that for swordsmen -> muskets before in another game. Annoying.
