By the way, do you think a peace for Europa is a good idea? I just checked, I can't raze it.

Which means it will be english for 10 turns only, probably not worth it as he can do a lot of damage in 10 turns.

PS.: I fear the VA is a clear cut case of a ban in future games, it seems as broken as Scythia.

Hard to say, can you get a lot of ships out in 10 turns. He is probably planning on retaking the city as soon as he can and probably leave any ships he has in production at 1 turn until he can get it back.

Then again, I should have most of his navy sunk in 10 turns, so not sure what he will use to retake it. Frankly, I am confused at the whole deal. It is a good deal for you if you can keep the city. Not 100% sure he is going to do the deal anyways.

I mean, if the prospect of Archduke getting a free VA is not enough to rouse you Woden, I don't know what is. At any rate, I'm done.

It seems that the devil´s most latest trick has failed. Dangle the VA in front of you and me and then let us tear each other apart.
With his conquest of Spain done, the mask has finally been torn away, if you check out science, culture and power you see Oledavy in a pretty dominant position.

Alas I am not sure if we can survive the onslaught, but we will surely try.

Any non-essential naval forces of mine will make haste to your shores, I will try to finish the conquest of Germany on foot and with some bombard ships possibly. Keep your strength and wits about, even if Oledavy bloodthirsty tears down cities of you as he has done with me, we will prevail.
At the moment I do not really mind who of us two wins this game, as long as Oledavy who time and time again has played one against the other has to be defeated. To my shame it worked against me in the first war against Singaboy, where Singaboy was right, Oledavy was by far the greater threat.

I am not sure if returning your cities against an unsure promise of an alliance is a smart by now, especially as your strength navy wise is seriously depleted. If you did not send that scout and that ship to scout my fleet for Oledavy and supported him, I think we could have found an accord, why else would I have done that sub optimal peace for rather useless and exposed Norwegian cities.

Nicely played so far, Oledavy, but it seems you did not offer the VA after all, unsurprisingly because what you wanted was Woden and me to separate over it, not actually cede it.

why so sore? You have conquered Spain and gotten rid of part of the war weariness. Your navy looks pretty impressive to me. Go raze more of Brazil's cities for him to feel the pain.

That is probably true, but as I said, in my eyes you were firmly in his camp already.

My biggest mistake in this game was to make a peacedeal with you returning your core, I should have let Oledavy conquer Norway and I concentrate on you.

Ah well, I think either way, this is soon over. Mistakes were made, lessons were learnt.

If splitting me and TheArchduke was your plan, why on earth would you think I would switch sides as you are attacking me? Doesn't make sense?

Don't worry, oledavy's attack will soon evaporate, not my cities. They can now also one shot his Frigates.

I figured he wouldn't follow through. I send you a friendship request, please send a Alliance so we can coordinate movements. I upgraded 7 MGs this turn and will start pushing oledavy back. He will probably be able to raze Lisbon but no more of my cities will fall.

Keep me appraised on what we should do next, I imagine we should join up our naval forces and finally do some damage after Oledavy burnt down one of our cities each we should at least return the favour.

oledavy seems to have withdrawn from attacking my island. I think he is most likely rallying his navy east of Tijuca. There is a bunch of shallow water there so he can have his bonus. I have a fleet moving up from Lisbon and will have a fleet moving out of the northern gulf of my island. If you want to head east from your current location. I can hit him from the south and you the north, we may be able to put the squeeze on him.

I don't know where his subs went and they maybe sitting in my gulf areas as they were attacking Mangueira. I am sweeping with my GG to see if they are down there, so move carefully. He may be hiding to attack from behind once we pass them.

Do you need any fire support over at Germany? I may be able to send a MG to pound down his walls. They don't get any reduction from walls.

One MG would help immensly, especially with the inland stuff. The northern fleet will soon be augmented.

Also my WE is a thing of the past, I just finished the Colloseum.

Tread carefully, but we should try to hit something important quickly.
