Alright played a few test games
Now that governors are important I think it makes each teams unique bonuses less powerful, governors even things out a bit.
China, seems to be the easiest to get a golden age and keep one.
Australia, while extremely powerful each game I played I thought they were weak if pastures / appeal tiles were not readily available.
Indonesia, much the same as Australia, If I start by a lake or the coast the early pantheon is nice, however the bonuses just don't seem to mean as much. I got far more faith from china for instance.
Georgia, I am currently playing a 3 player ffa on a standard inland sea map (world age new) with my bro and cousin. I got a normal age in the classical, but have stayed in Golden ages since and we are in the Renaissance. The extra envoy also has helped me keep suzarian over several of them, and the Protectorate War ability is actually not to bad. I skipped over the Unique Unit and now it is a bit late for them. The ability to build quicker tier 3 walls is a bit nice though.
I would still like to try a game as Rome, but as of right now I am leaning towards china. With early first Religion and Golden ages allowing settlers and builders to be bought with faith and having 6 charge builders with governor and pyramids is just so nice. Not to mention the +4
Religion bonus just helps fuel that even more.
