That's the best part with these guys. They're such bad criminals and so obviously corrupt that you can't tell (though you highly suspect) whether they're just that much smarter than you and playing 4-D Chess or are exactly what they appear to be, bad criminals and obviously corrupt.

So am I obnoxious or playing 4-D Civ and trying to get a TKO so I can have play turn coverage for vacations? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes.

Well, I have come across a new puzzle: I can't select a civilization.




After playing the first several turns without issue, I am now at my parents house for the weekend (minding their dog and house while they visit other relations), and this is what happens every time I connect. I've played from their internet service before without issues, but that was several years ago - any idea on how to fix this issue? I've done the tried-and-true restart windows and after tinkering around last night decided to sleep on it thinking it may have been server-side. But I've seen people play their turns since then and so it must be an issue with my setup.

I've also put instructions for this turn in my thread so if a lurker wants to jump in and make moves for me that will keep things moving while this gets sorted. Or potentially as a solution for the weekend.

I logged in just fine -- I played my turn and re-paused the game.

Isn't that the "list of players is too long (characters count-wise), which causes the packet to be split into multiple parts which doesn't play well with certain setups" bug? The way to fix that was to have each player's civ name be shorter--did anyone put an extravagant name in the list?

I changed my name to TBS in case it makes a difference, I remember doing that in PB18 for something like CH is referring too.

Can a lurker please log in to move Pin's scout since everyone else has ended turn?

crashed to desktop   there was a brief pop-up that said something like "the save you are trying to load is ....." about 10 more words that I didn't have time to read before the window closed.
