I mean: no, he's going to miss one scout move and hasn't asked for a pause. If he were in a hot war then maybe we should, but even then it might be more important to keep the game moving.

Agree with OH said - just let it run if people let the timer run out without asking for a pause at this point (in this case knew I could get to it, but generally if turn rolls in the evening I won't be able to get to it until timer is low).
Fear cuts deeper than swords.
Instead of just letting the turn roll we could ask the lurkerati to jump in and play. Perhaps when there's less than one hour on the clock?

If you think you may be likely to come close to a turn roll just throw down a quick signpost (alt+s) in game (t10 scout for example) and let the lurkers know. I can't think of any reason that we can't keep this running without pauses at this stage of the game.

I have a ~3hr window at the same time each evening which is plenty to maintain a 1t/day pace, but as dtay says if the turn rolls after I've gone to bed it will be late in the next turn before I get to it. |
