One more thing: I generally prefer the inland ocean setting to the default Waterways. About 200 land tiles per player generally seems to hit the sweet spot between loneliness and overcrowding. Ok, two more things. Flooded waterways, 200 tiles per player, and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope. Three more things...

You're better off banning the whole building. I would have been content to copy Stephanos one time. There's no great way to "trap" him but in my test games I did manage to lure horsemen in with sacrificial "bait" units.

Plus, copied units include any equipment that the original was carrying.

Hall of Mirrors is pretty expensive and too situational to build unless you plan to fully utilize it.
