Not sure about Eng/Edu. Let's see what India does the following turns. In the meantime finish up Machienry.

Crydee - I think barracks is better than moai there. Personally moai should go in a city that has a seafood resource (preferably 2), such as Land's End (which has the extra benefit of incresaing production on the island).

More things ....

I think we should stop all the missionaries from Sethanon. I think we've spread the religion enough, so after the next one I propose we build something like a worker/settler to keep expanding. We do want centralia. smile

Also, I'm revising my opinion on Crydee. I don't think we need a barracks - we've got enough military there already. Why not let the city grow to size 7 and build either a worker/settler? I don't think Dantski is attacking us anytime soon, and if he does he's foolish to do so with his axemen and skirmishers. I think the best way for us to play out this game is to keep up our expansion along with a respectable military, but stay on the defensive (offensive wars are bad for your economy). That should cruise us to a second place finish behind India.

India declared in Greece and Jowy is going to suicide and give his cities away.
I assume they are of no interest to us.

I do believe this gives us the time to go for Education first, what do you think?

I'm starting talks with Korea to see if we can reach a peace agreement between The Empire, Korea and us. We need Whosit to focus on Slaze now.

The turn was pretty uneventfull (besides the war declaration). Stardock will build/whip another LB-settler pair for Centralia. Port Natal and Yabon will start on LB's as well after growth and will squeeze out a settler-worker or two as well.

Set Crydee on a Monastry since we need the culture. Krondor is building one as well and should get an Aquaduct since it's unhealty. Banana's will help, but not enough.

Carse is founded and the workers will do the Banana first.

-Looks like Korea isn't interested in pleace just yet


As far as empire development:

-Chariot started in Rolan (main reason is to go to the longbowmen that are 2 turns away from cheju, to move in (See the garrison) then move out)
-Crydee on monastery is fine.
-Second spices were roaded
-Work boat headed to Queg (3turns, good)
-Confucianism spread into Rolan
-2 workers are now over the banana although only 1 is actually chopping at the moment. CHop, then plantatino, then road.

As far as what you said about Port Natal, I strongly suggest we get a lighthouse there before we start on worker/settler mainly becuase a lighthouse will net us 2 food minimum (1 from the clam and then 1 from the 3F 3C inside lake there). smile Also we need to get a good road network south of LaMut just in case of emergency if Korea decides to look our way.

I'm also unsure on what to build in Yabon. I preemptively set it on a forge. Perhaps something else? It's a bit small to be building workers and settlers.

Rolan (we need that mine over there, still trying to find the workers - at size 15 Rolan really should do something like settler/worker in that order... we need more and we need to get those 2 extra cities on our personal island before Mali gets them). You know Rolan COULD make a decent Moai Statue city (13 turns) although I guess that's not on our priority list.

Stardock has 3 unhappiness from whipping. Do you plan on growing to size 8 and starting on a settler then? Or finishing the longbowman first?

Sethanon - I actually switched from longbowmen to confu temple. The reason is .... if we want a great person faster, we need a building that can hire priests. Temples mean 1 priest, so once this temple is done, we can hire 1 priest and 2 scientist. WE COULD hire a spy now but we really don't need one - scientist is great and a priest would be okay for a shrine. The confucian shrine would net us a respectable 10 gold per turn.

Say, I forgot to request more map trades which really should be done every turn or whenever cities change sides. Also we need to explore India's personal island I think they've got cities there by now.

I agree, Stardock should build a settler at size 8 and it needs more improved tiles. Gotta get some workers from somewhere...

Perhaps after the worker by Port Natal finishes the mine he can go over to Stardock.
