I think the problem is just with me (the message is actually "contacting peer"). It's still not working.
If Taotao can't take the turn I might need lurker help then

Not working for me too.

Maybe we need a restart and possibly pause?

Try restarting (CIV and then machine), that usually works out that sort of problem.

Unfortunately, it still does not work for me. I am on vacation and using a mobile connection, which seems to work for all the other pitboss servers I am connecting to, except this server.

I am making last attempt for this night and if it does not work, I am asking for a pause and will look tomorrow for someone to play my turn, as it is important and prefer not to skip it.

OH/Xenu, can one of you do a quick reboot just to eliminate the possibility that is the problem for 2mn? If that doesn't work then I think a pause is entirely appropriate until he can get the turn covered. Thanks.
