Hey,
Does anyone play Ultimate General: Gettysburg? If so, would you be interested in a multiplayer match? I'd like to try multiplayer. THH
No, but I've tagged it in anticipation of the next steam sale. How hard would it be to pick up if you've never played a table top war game?

Moderate. The controls are easy, but the gameplay can be a little hard at first. But that's good, since it creates a challenge. It's mostly about picking good terrain and combining fields of fire.
little challenge - the AI is abysmal. Sid Meier's Gettysburg is still a better game - the moral mechanics are better and deeper, which plays a big role in combat.

An ideal strategy game would tone down efficiency challenges, while promoting choices and conflicts No gods or kings. Only Man.
Yeah, but it is still not buyable somewhere and my CD refuses to work as the game is ludicrously old.

I respectfully think the evaluation of the AI as abysmal is quite inaccurate. It stands out, certainly against the AI of the series the game's based on, Total War, and I think against many others (including Civ IV's). It certainly will do stupid stuff all the time, but if you do silly things it will punish you.
