Just to reiterate. I will NOT attack W/C anymore.

Signing an alliance, offering an attack and then sneaking a horseman on the isthmus city which clearly threatens us? No way.

- I will keep every single of my units exactly where they are.
- Build more infrastructure and settlers as I planned all along.
- Offer gold trades to W/C to make my intentions of an attack on S/S clear.
- As soon as they settle that city, I will give them the chance to cede it to us. I expect a rejection.

In retrospect we should have just taken it like a man by those sneaky buggers of S/S, but what is done is done.

OK, so I am to transfer all troops towards the EAST then? I just want to know what the plan is. If war with s/s is the plan, and I am fine with it I will move EAST.

Right now war with C/W is not the plan, I am not helping S/S if they want to screw me over.

I would:

- Build infrastructure especially repair your science rate as much as you can
- Prepare horseman and some ships but not too many. We have 10 rounds of peace.

Quick overview.

I am firmly set against S/S now. At least where I am concerned, I hope you are not mad at me, but noone screws me over the day after a contract is signed. This is beyond this game. China has to die in this game.
Even if they come to their senses and cede us this city. I am still seething over their sneakyness, are they that stupid that I will overlook this?  

Anyway,

Boosting Siege Tactics via Darwin was a mistake for a war against S/S, but would have been good against C/W.

Science wise:

Industrialism is boosted, I will boost Steam by building 2 shipyards (enroute) and get 2 forts.

After Industrialism, Steel is next.

   

Please finish Siege Tactics and finish Military Science and Rifling both which can be done by you and boost me. I will do Science Theory(boosted) and Economics(boosted). I will cover ballistics, (boosted soon).

I am getting 3 more settlers atm. 1 on the field. The one who was blocked will go to the northern island, another one to the island Northwest, and the others to the two island west of you ( I might gift you one or both of those.)

   

Rationalism will help me catch up.

I also sent W/C

a 28/28 gold trade and a 10gold/turn for free (300 gold altogether) because talk (or messaging is cheap).

Thinking about it, Flight (OBS Ballons) could be awesome, check PBEM #5 for that.

Strategy wise, you have a lot of land units, I think you should be the spearhead over the isthmus supported by ships, whilst I ship in my troops north and land in NW China.

Unit wise, you can continue moving east. I will conquer bandar brunei and apart from 3 crossbow(cannon) garrisons, all my troops will ship in north, you can prepare a staging ground and thanks to vision W/C will see where our loyalties lie.

Fixing science, while continuing to get infrastructure up.

Most units moving east. Want to keep a couple north just in case.

Not much else to note. I am fine with what ever decision you make. Let the drums for war sound off!

Troops are moving. I really think I should get the next Great General. What do you think. Projects and faith purchase? or do you think it better not to have one. Probably the last industrial one.

Got a university on the way and a couple of campus districts in the future. Want some more faith as well.

Got a bit of money and faith saved up. What do you want me to do with it?

A Great General is rather useful, before you go ahead, how many projects you need, what is your current GG? Will check it as soon as I can.

Faith? buy cheap units like horseman, catapults, bombards, ships...

We have the money to upgrade them so buy them whilst they are cheap.

Bandar Brunei has no district and envoywise is still more useful to us then them.

If that changes, I pull the trigger.
