Sorry, didn't realise I was blocking anyone, I've been able to connect with others. I'll try to do my thinking outside the game and keep the logins shorter.

I am out of town and cannot connect to the game again. I had asked a sub to play my turns until I come back, but might take some time to him to react to my request.

Is there a problem with the server? I just stall at "Contacting peer" when trying to connect, and nobody appears connected according to civ stats.

I also just had my internet provider switch out my modem today because ... reasons, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I just connected, it took a long time at contacting peer for me, too, but then it went through to the choose leader screen normally.

Nope, looks like something is up with the game. I've been stuck on 'Finishing' for a few minutes now. I'm going to restart the server instance and try again.

Reloaded the game, when I logged back in it went much more quickly (i.e., normally). Give it another try, pindicator.
