Hey, I know that this is an AI diplomacy game and all, but Singaboy and I have discussed this and we'd like to offer a three-way draw outcome for the game. It seems clear at this point that all three teams are too large and powerful to be conquered by one another, and we're both becoming exhausted by the neverending daily grind of this game. If there is a general consensus to continue, we are going to look for a replacement Rome player as I won't be able to keep devoting time to this game. I hope everyone has been having fun this far, and we certainly have too, but the time requirements have really taken over and eclipsed the fun part in the last couple of weeks.

This comes a bit of a suprise because I distinctly remember that everyone was happy to restart and then you were the first to say let´s continue. Are we not in the middle of a decisive war atm?
Another switch of a player is peculiar to say the least.

Well the game is just starting to get interesting! However I do not want to force people to play a game they are no longer enjoying.
I would be very interested in a 2v2 game, pref with the expo if any one else would be interested.

For me, I am split. With the summer construction season starting, I am becoming ever more busy with work and haven't had much time to write up the turn reports these last few weeks but ending the game on such a blah ending seems like a waste of the last 6 months. I can go either way. The game is starting to get interesting but I could use the extra fee time. I will leave it up to you all to decide.
As for CMF, I have an idea of his thoughts but don't want to speak for him.

By the way, if people feel this game is not at a point for a three way draw, I could take over Sulla's part for now. Of course, due to the split nature of Rome's and China's turns, that might lead to some delays but it should be generally fine.

Whilst I am for continuing if noone wants to, I do not want to feel anyone forced.

Besides the general frustration over the cheesy chopping/harvesting tactics that override any empire building effort (not to blame anyone here, we all play within the rules of the game as is), we now have a game breaking bug.
Not going into details here first, as it is Rome's turn where this pops up.

Well, it is not only Sullla who wants to end this, it seems you are frustrated, too.
If you do remember pretty much everyone (except Sullla) was ok to stop this back when the cheating came out, now I invested a bit more of time.
Hmm, chopping and harvesting is part of the game. Looking back to CIV IV, noone complained about slavery there which I found just as cheesy, to be honest.
I much rather play with people who enjoy their time playing. I at least do, even when loosing.

I am interested in continuing, if only to practice my military skills. I am fine if Singaboy wants to continue playing both civs, even with the potential for an extended turn around. If the bug is game breaking than I will understand not wanting to continue.
As for chopping/harvesting, I don't think it replaces empire building. You get a boost in production from chops but well developed cities still give you science, gold, culture, etc. Plus, it is no more cheesy than other aspects of the game.

In order to continue, the bug would have to be negated. We are talking about the denial of a policy swap even though a civic finished. To unlock the swap, almost 500 gold are necessary. I am sure you all understand the importance of planning and a swap of civic cards with the completion of a civic. Some people have commented that this sometimes has happened to them. However, at this stage of the game, this is game breaking for us.
Unless this can be rectified, it would make the continuation of the current game very unlikely.
