Have family in town this weekend so probably will not be able to roll your map until later next week or next weekend. Also I still don't have R&F so I'd need Woden to generate the starting save like last time.

I could roll the civ choices. Do you each want one naval civ a piece or just random? If naval civs do you count say Spain with early fleets and the Dutch with a UU as naval? Are DLC's included?
I think we're doing full R&F and DLC civs, and I would count the Dutch with their unique frigate as a naval civ.
Let's see... England, Japan, Indonesia, Norway, the Netherlands, Brazil, Germany (the last three because of naval UUs) I would all count. Spain is lackluster enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable giving it to someone as their 'only' naval choice.

Ok, last question are the choices blind (I PM the 6 to each player) or public, (I post listing the 6 for each player here).
Edit: I have to catch a flight soon but I have the lists e-mailed to myself for either eventuality. I randomized the list using the following procedure. Randomized a list of the naval civs, distributed one to each player in order by turn order (Archduke got the civ that was on top of the list and so on), Replaced the 2 non-selected naval civics back into the draw, randomized all remaining civs. Civs with 2 leaders had both put into the list. The higher leader on the list was kept lower leader eliminated. In sets of 5, I distributed the civs as listed to the players in rank order, leaving each player 6 civs to chose from in total, each at least 1 naval civ.
