Well i miss-judged how good of a move it would be to smash into my chariots, and ALL of them have been taken out, i have basically nothing left that can attack, and with my axemen being str 4.... they suck even more than normal axes vs cats/horse archers.. Why in the FUCK did i pick NA? That, will be my #1 dumbest thing ive done in this pitboss, Picking Native America. now, Churchill isnt a bad choice, CHA is still top tier trait imo, and pro is all sorts of fun in the RTR mod. Current plan is simple. Try and beg for gold from a neighbor of Rusten, to tech to LBow's. NA churchill with longbows will be a massive bitch to attack. if i can run 100% science, i can get there in 16 turns or so. Im not afraid of rusten, he will likely break thru a city... it is just a matter of time, but the real problem is TBS/dtay. Both have had workers on the border between us, and could be road-canceling. If i can avoid having anyone else enter this war for awhile, i can at least survive another spot on the list. ( list being bandit/aretas/dark savant ) Building wealth in most cities, with totem poles able to be whipped as soon as i hit feudalism.

Doing SOME damage to his power graph, dont know if this is encouraging others to attack him, or me.

Any questions?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

BGN declared war on Rusten, i will have to wait and see if there is actually something to this war, or if its just a war/peace kinda deal. rusten will have a total of 4 cats at my city in 3 turns, with 3 of them bombarding as i type. I can cram enough defenders in there that i wont lose the city, but with 4 cats, i will lose alot of units when he does decide to go in.. i would REALLY LOVE for BGN to go whole hog with attacking rusten as i dont want more reinforcements coming in, and i dont really want to switch off of wealth builds till i hit longbows. workers have not a whole lot left they can do since im stuck in this forever-war with the green invaders.. so they are currently roading and chopping what i can will likely disband a couple soon.
Realized i had forgotten to move EP off of dtay, and promptly swapped to Rusty. Might end up doing another around of pro-totempoled-barracks'd archers and send it to the frontlines

Turn- 115. Emergency units needed. SOSTP- Save our Shitty Totem Poles.
Im almost guaranteeing that TBS hops into this. his power is spiking, he has high gnp/other demos, he's looking for lunch, and im a prime rib. Rusten isnt getting dogpiled by germany, BGN, or mack, for whatever fucked up reasoning, i guess. he will lose ALOT of units smashing into my city, but screw him, im determined to hold it. However my days are numbered as soon as TBS throws whatever nasty units he's got in. Best case scenario- Tbs attacks dreylin, rusten gets attacked by mack/BGN.. and i can consume some cities off of rusten, and race to LBow's and not die for another 40 turns. But this game was a good learning experience, and i hope pb39 is a better pitboss.

So what sorts of things have you learned? Is there anything you'd like to see in the lurker thread?

Well...what do you think mack or BGN would gain by piling into Rusten? I understand what's in it for you, but what would be in it for them?
Ive learned the meta is different than gamespy days, and that native america is a pisspoor choice among other things.
They would gain much land, for little cost. Imo. And having a rival grow stronger via eating me isnt what anyone should want. And im assuming all of his units are attacking my city atm

I'll also note here that Rusten has 15 hitters and that you have 24 in the city.
All his cats, and maybe 3-4 other units? I believe i can continue piling in units to keep from losing the city.

Ways i could have improved on what i did during the course of the game would be amazing. Although im still thinking my neighbor draw was shittastic

As predicted, rusten slammed his cats and Some of his troops into me, and i killed most of his cats, and a couple other units and still have more than enough to keep the city. Seeing the power graph, TBS is rising steadly and whipping like a madman so im fully expecting to be slammed by him soon. I do not have the units to protect our multiple city border... heck, even combining into one city would likely still be overrun,
Even if dreylin came to my rescue ( lol ) im willing to bet that Dtay slams into him.. Still best case scenario is bgn/naufrager/mack gnaw on rusten and i can get some gold from some people and bumrush to lbows for a couple more turns of living. Cant wait to join u guys in lurker hell!
