Did you fork it like a human in MP, spy bonk it like a human against the AI or zerg rush it like Shaka?  And how many improvements survived?

If the house wasn't auto-razed, there still must be people living in there. Doesn't that get awkward?

They've now become natural born citizens of the Haphazard empire, as their original civ has been fully conquered.

Turn 321:

Captured Awlil, lost 2 rifles, 1 cavalry. I knocked out the defenses at Tekedda with a spy, but had bad luck on the attack. I lost two cavs, one cannon and two riflemen. And there's still a longbowman and a grenadier left, though badly damaged. Moving troops into place at Timbuktu. I wait with the spy mission until I have all my attackers at the gates. Phew, that took forever!

Turn 322:

Finished Steam Power, and there's only one coal resource in our entire territory. It's three tiles away from Spyro. Still waiting for more troops at Timbuktu. I'm not going to crack Tekedda without dropping its defenses, so I'll move the spy from Timbuktu there and bring down Timbuktu's defenses with cannons.

Turn 323:

Taken Timbuktu, 3 cannons lost. I have a single cannon at Tekedda and realize that it's faster to bombard the defenses than wait for the spy to arrive, so I do that. Our capital is starving, with -1 food. I don't see what I could do about that.

Turn 324:

Settler finishes in Sonic the Hog. I queue up another one because why not? We're leader of the AP. Moving around troops. I move some up north to mop up Mansa's final cities, and others to our future western front.

Alright, I'm taking a break for now. I noticed that there's a city marked for national park. Do we want one after all? I'd like to see what it can do!

At this stage the goal should be all military all the time. We've the game won, and the only thing that will win it faster is railroads and more stacks. The only time a city shouldn't be building units at this stage of this game is if we are in a cash crunch and need to run wealth elsewhere.

Sounds like some good progress against Mansa, RFS-81. smile

I agree with Brian that we should just keep pushing more military. Keep stomping the enemy, keep conquering, keep pushing them back. hammer

On National Park, we do not really have a strong site for it. I do not think it is worth building at this point in the game. It is very situational, and if you do not have the proper factors for it to really shine then it is not worth building. Highlands script is not a favorable one for good National Park sites.

I do think the national park is at cross purposes with our goals now—we would need caste system to make it viable but we’d prefer slavery at this point. Once we have 40 or so whippable cities we should make the switch.

However, we're also getting to the point in the game where we have so many military vs. the AI that even more military isn't productive. Our units are getting to be extremely highly promoted, which means that we'll keep using the same highly promoted units again and again, instead of using fresh ones.

Just food for thought.

Turn 325:

I rejected an annoying tech trade offer from Willem: Compass for paper. I conquered Tekkeda which leaves one city for Mansa Musa. hammer I switch the settler build to military. A great merchant spawns and I send him towards Ur for a trade mission. The next GA would require two more great people, and getting a pile of gold lets us run more research.

Turn 326:

Founded Wing Commander at one of the "x" map markers with my inherited settler. Connected coal at Spyro, though I don't think we're going to use it.

Turn 327:

Finished Railroad! I choose to tech towards Assembly Line next for Infantry, but I dial down spending so that the next player can decide.

Turn 328:

Economics finishes from beaker overflow. Shaka finally declares war on Mansa, just on the turn when I take his last city lol

Turn 329:

More railroading and moving troops to our future fronts.

Turn 330:

Corporations finished (without any spending, just from specialists), next up Assembly Line.
