Sorry, Gav. I have decided to not leave the (possibly) last mark on my time here by taking my toys and going home. Bacchus posted some details for me and I am about as satisfied as I will be in such a situation.

Why to the turn start? Don't you have Ot4e's logout save?

Because by the time he had played a lot of time was off the clock. I don't want to spend all weekend reloading the game so I'm going to set it back to 24 hours to go and one player who ignored the do not play message can play again.

Reloaded to DZ's logout save from right after the turn rolled in case there was anything that needed preserving from those three minutes after the roll. Clock is running, just under 24 hours to go.

Civstats log shows OT4E has played but the player list shows correctly that he has not. Please replay (and mind the signs next time when it says not to play).

Argh, cannot connect now. Is it only me or others are having this issue too?

I am, and I think I caused it (logged ina nd then got a "can't contact host error" and now it thinks I'm still logged in)

Try logging back in now. There was an error on the server (unable to write file, or similar) probably the autosave being generated when 2MN tried to connect to dtay. That seems to have locked the game state until the error was cleared on the server. Once cleared I was able to log in.
