Hmmm. Well, accepting peace would lock you into peace for 10 turns. But after that you would be free to resume fighting if you wanted to, such as believing you could recapture cities or otherwise make gains against Charriu.
So I do not see much downside to taking peace right now, unless you are in position to couter-attack within the next 10 turns and make gains. Peace would end the turn split and simplify things, and Charriu would be bound by the same 10 turn treaty if you are worried about a fresh offensive hitting your forces. I don't think Charriu's war weariness would be very much at this point, so maintaining the war would not hurt him much that way; I have seen situations where one side is desperate for peace to get out from under war weariness crushing their cities.
Overall, I do not see any real negatives to taking peace unless you were about to counter-attack, and there are positives. So might as well.
