They are antagonists of ANGELs
They might BEAT their clients
IRON does extra damage against them in some mythologies
I like PIT, but the others all seem like a stretch

I don't see anything else that fits. Probably a good sign of a specific clue.
Now opening DaveV's spoiler...I mostly agree with that order of guesses. Angel, Beat, Iron are associated but not obvious, I would only guess them if one of Pit and Bat doesn't work. I will point out that Commodore is a D&D/Pathfinder DM, in which cold iron helps against fiends (er, I think, it's hard to keep track of devil/demon/fiend etc in that system), but I think that only promotes it above Beat, not actually to something I want to guess.
PIT ANGEL does kind of sound like a fallen angel...I think I still prefer Bat though. That makes angel my first alternate choice, which we hopefully won't need.
Only worry on my side is that I could see Bat being something Hunted, but it's a stretch there (can't imagine there's much meat on a bat) so I would still guess it.

And to remind sunrise089/Fenn that you're the other BLUE team mates. If you agree with my/Dave's guesses then no need to wait for us to point. If you don't agree then of course we should discuss until I persuade you .
PIT is definitely one; for the other word I agree that BAT makes the most sense; if Commodore wanted to indicate ANGEL then something like "Fallen" would have been an obvious clue.

Right, I forgot about the whole 'better ways to indicate it' way of judging. Pit Angel would likely have been something more specific like Satan, Lucifer, Fallen, something more specific than fiend. I guess it's always possible that he overlooked that but it's not the way to bet.
