If Switch is one of them, why didn't we get a 1 clue? Pretty sure we were leaning Switch from Riding still...

I'm probably blind because I'm not seeing anything obvious. I'll just excuse myself from this one and go with whatever everyone else thinks, as my unspoiled thoughts make no sense whatsoever.

I see three words here: Switch, Sock and Boom.

Boom is pretty likely theirs still, so I'm in favour of Switch + Sock.
I'm not too worried about the 2-clue not attempting to pick up Switch as +1. It feels safer to reclue rather than rely on us picking the word we were probably going to pick.

Switch looks obvious to me. Pre spoilers my second guess was Luck as in the expression hit a bad Beat (be very unlucky). But as two players prefer Sock and no one mentioned Luck that`s probably what we should point to next. What is a Sock Beat after all?

Yeah, I can see the luck connection as well... never heard the expression "hit a bad beat", but "beat the odds" is very common. Very slight chance Luck could have even been intended as one of the riding words, associated with the expression "having a lot riding on chance". Sock seems more direct though, and it was both mine and rho's gut reactions, so I still favor pointing to it. Just not enough to, you know, do it myself wink

Well, actually I`m not sure whether hitting a bad beat is the right term or it`s something similar but it`s definitely being used in poker. That being said, you and rho are in the majority here as WK didn`t mention a second word.
