In pb38 everyone was rolled 2 leaders and 1 civ. They could either reroll the civ or the leaders. Either 1 or 2 total rerolls given - I can't recall.
And nobody's picks were given out until all picks were finalized.

As far as rules-
fish/fish copper/copper style deals allowed, and are we doing 8.4 or 8.3 mod?
I believe there was a consensus or at least a couple people wanting to ban zulu and inca?

PB38 picking was two re-rolls.
I originally said 2.0.8.3, but I'm happy with .4 too.
Edit: Lots of ninjas. I think only Cairo and I were for .3. Everybody else was overwhelmingly for .4. And yeah, I haven't heard anyone speak up for saving Zulu or Pro/Inca from the ban list. (Not sure how to ban a combo in the pb38 pick method. Just reroll entirety of options if a player would've been presented with it? Idk.)

I think the fish/fish deals are silly and prefer to offer real trades with real trading partners when it makes sense, but I don't care about banning them. I wouldn't put a ton of stock in them, though. With that said, I do recall making a horse/horse offer with Adrien in PB38 not long before the Aztecs were partitioned, so I'm a hypocrite and I acknowledge it.
I don't really care about banning particular combos but just for the sake of variety I'm fine with no Zulu/Inca since they seem to appear in almost every game.
Not sure if I mentioned it upthread or not but I prefer 2.0.8.4 because exploration should be rewarded and it'll save me five seconds on updating my desktop shortcut.

I don't fuck about when it comes to setting up games.
Heads up, map dimensions are 84*52, tech costs are details are in this spreadsheet (All thanks goes to Seven).
Map is standard size. 1351 land tiles, 169/player. Starting screenshots are posted in the lurker thread and will be posted in player threads when you've settled on game rules and any pick/bands etc. I'm finished, everything else can be directed to Mardoc (and I have sent him the WBS as of this post).
I have one request: Will you allow me to make another version of the mod whereby fishing boats do not require Fishing to be built (but you still need to have Fishing to work coastal tiles)? This is the exact same change that Seven put into ToW, and it is one I have intended to put in for years, however I kept on forgetting I hadn't implemented it. I can have this up and posted by tonight (it's just a single XML change so takes no time).
