Cornflakes though does not bother it seems. No mil science, only knights and a lot of frigates.

I risk my cossack in the city, but 72 defense might make it costly.

In any case, Pyramids and Colloseum should alleviate wounds with War Exhaustion (WE).

I should probably analyze my longterm situation against Rho, especially given that Cornflakes will try to grieve me as much as possible.

So it will be my inland cities versus all of Rome and a Brazil remnant. Still, every other turn Cornflakes would have further run away with the game or conquered more overseas stuff.

My main weakness is my weak naval cababilities.

Turn came in when I did not have too much time.

Basically preparing ram and attack on Valetta.

Archers to the west to prepare harbour defense. Trying to build up a fleet up north.

Cossacks enroute north as the southern ram got bumped out of "liberated" Valetta. At least one city without occupation that way.

Dominion fell last turn, Chess this turn. Sooner or later his fleet will show up, I might be able to protect the german port.

In any case, the Colloseum is a huge help with amenities.

Resistance is basically done on land. We will see if I am allowed to keep Free Cell, if not, he may burn it for all I care.

This game will show that the current occupation system is a steaming pile of stupid of an SP design decision and I hope we will do something about it:

I had a long time of looking over this game, racking my head. I do not think I can win this. I considered going for cultural, but given Rome´s strength this may be difficult.

DotF will be less viable the more advanced things get and my economy money wise is absolutely crashed. I am not sure how I can salvage it when I have noone left to trade.

I should have liberated Valetta in hindsight and kept it around.

Leaning towards a concession atm.

Well, I absolutely destroyed Cornflakes' Brazil.

He is down to 15 culture, 30 science. But he did manage to reach the damn MGs.

I doubt I can protect my northern harbour, but damned if I do not try. lvl 3 walls incoming, 4 crossbows. Come and get me!

   

I suicided about 3 cossacks and 2 horseman into Free Cell. Why? I can not afford them, at all.

I need to repair my income pronto as well as my amenities.

   

I am treating this as a learning experience and I will try a LONG shot towards a culture victory. I am not sure if I would have managed to crack Cornflakes without Cossacks, maybe I should have just tried?

3 task forces of crossbowmen and cossacks for mobile defense. Retreat into inner core. Work on culture and try to forget about war exhaustion building.

Oh Firaxis next time you copy paste the war system of Paradox try to include STABHITTING you damn Morons.

I am starting to consider queer stuff, like building the Great Zimbawe or getting more arenas, I dunno. +1 amenity per unit in a city?

In any case, I will keep playing as not to repeat my mistakes of this game in the future.
