All of that awesome, amazing micro, and we both beefed in the single most basic check:
MoM is no longer boosted by marble. Remembered the Nationalism nerf, forgot the resource one.
In other news, the barbarians are still planting within our dotmap. And avoiding any sanity with regards to resource-planting whatsoever.

...good one! Seems like an overall fair assessment.

Isthmus is ours though. Dang it's right to be right. Don't like that galley's position, though.

Is MoM going to be built in time for your first GA with whatever your revised plan is?
What does your F1 screen look like?

I sent this to Commodore, but figured I should post it here as well:
Forbidden Palace, ETA end of t135
First thing: improve the horse. That will finish next turn and be needed hammers.
We will get the 5 other courthouses done by end of turn 130, so that is when we'll whip the courthouse in Stevenson. That combined with the chop coming in on purple ( NOTE: purple needs to road or cottage or something for a turn before it can start chopping) will give us 44 hammers overflow to kick start the Forbidden Palace. For the duration we'll be at size 2 and bringing in 4hpt.
On 132 we get 76 hammers coming in from 2 forest chops, bringing us up to 126/200. 133 it grows to 130/200.
On t134 the last two forest chops come in. This along with working an extra hammer with the new citizen will put us at 195/200, and then finishing the following turn.

No MoM as you see above. 300 hammers we can do, there's no way to get 450 in the time. Forbidden Palace, then, and Golden Age is due in ten turns. Painfully hungry, but that's how it's got to be.
Amusingly, note how Burr ALONE accounts for all of our current economic surplus. Boy we need these courthouses up. 10gpt saved next turn...
The forbidden palace might be even better than the MoM out here. All these cities are cripplingly expensive, and as they grow like weeds they'll get even worse. Gotta reach to win, though.
Speaking of reaching, check out Donovan's new digs:
In case it's not clear, it's BGNu that are reaching, but they have the army for it. Donovan...doesn't.

We have, I feel, an extremely clear path to win.
1. Don't Die to Rusten's Galleons.
2. Make Donovan Die to Ours
Although I found a competent rival to the meal.

How has Gav not succumbed to his bloodlust?
Especially with so reasonable a target

No clue
He has the GLH on this map, too

Maybe Donovan has mastered the art of not giving Gav an imaginary slight

If so I take back everything mean I ever said about him.

Clearly, that was my iron :P
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

So it's a race between the hardy frontiersmen running from the law, and the lawmen following quickly behind? Who's going to win?
