RP Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Darius I of the Holy Roman Empire

both workers on the Queg island pre-roaded the tiles they are on...alright

So...

We got MoM!
But India is on Edu... they do need Phil, though.
Going to ask our allies for some funds to speed to Lib...

Eng done next turn. 3-4 turns of cash needed, but we could hire some more scientists to help.

Did make a stupid misclick with the workers near Queg, sorry...

Whipped Carse for a granary (2 pop), what next there? Lib?
Set Krondor on a Uni.

All right, thanks for clarification.

I'll check the game now for Carse and Queg worker things.

Here's the revised worker plan. Assuming that the rice tile and the tile directly east of Ylith are both pre-roaded, here's what we should do to ensure maximum transportation capability on our island (needs a name!) and get the horses hooked up for faster production at Ylith.

Turn 177 (next turn).

Worker in Ylith goes east and finishes the road.
Other worker finishes the road on the RICE

Turn 178

Both workers head over to the horse and pasture. (The worker on the rice should be able to do this because of the Engineering tech.)

Turn 179

Finish pasture

Turn 180

Both workers road the horse.

Conclusion: By turn 181, we have our 2 island cities hooked up with a road connection AND have the horses all pastured + roaded so that Ylith can get a decent production tile after growing to size 2. jive

Last thing, we have our stack positioned to go to Nar Shaada in 2 turns with Engineering. Unfortunately, it might not be enough, as Korea only has 9 units defending, 3 of which are catapults. However it may be possible for us to re-take a city from them should Korea take the city. What do you think? We can send this picture to Whosit.

1. Carse - put on a rathaus, followed by a library. Crazy, minus 10 gold per turn for maintenance.

2. Crydee - after longbow, university.

3. We may want to re-think about Rolan's cottage situation. There's 1 forest there to act as health boost along with the fur, but it may be better to cottage ove rit anyway if we can get a health building in Rolan after the university.

4. Kept EP on India because they haven't responded to last email.

5. Set Queg onto building research so we can get engineering with 50% research for better rounding and get a gold surplus for the following turn. We can build a lomgbow starting next turn OR a settler if we do want peace with Korea.

6. Interesting fact - after I adjusted some tile builds, we should have FIVE cities grow in population next turn. smile We need to carefully micromanage the tiles in La Mut, Yabon, and Port Natal in order to maximize our yields for next turn.

7. Penultimate reminder - be sure to write down the turn number for culture boundaries. The critical cow tile in Krondor/Gao contested area is 53/46 in our favor this turn so we should see our control increase DRAMATICALLY in 4+ turns due to how culture mechanics work.

8. Last thing, why is the worker mining the jungle here? I think that a better build would be to chop/cottage the forest tiles since Port Natal has strong commerce potential. The chops would help to speed up the lib/univ that are needed. As of now though we can keep the worker mining just so we don't waste MORE worker turns. smile

All in all we're in a respectful position right now. Thank goodness Land's End is on a worker - we need those ASAP. smile

Thanks for the input! A Rathaus in Carse is indeed far better, we can whip it soon since it has a good food excess.
Rillanon should then build Monument - Granary - Rathaus - Library, right?

Please send that picture to Whosit. I know they are discussing peace, but it's taking a long time.

Send a message to Whosit and Athlete asking for gold.
I suggest we hire a lot of scientists should India get any closer to Lib.

I think we need to build about 10 Landsknecht for Krondor/Crydee/Stardock and a few for Centralia as well with all the knights galloping around...

I sent the email to Whosit.

Nakor - any ideas on other wonders we could use to help our culture situation? I doubt we need it though. What we do need are Aesthetics and Drama after Liberalism.

All right, what is this? rolleye

Also note how India doesn't seem to end with a salutation or anything. Hm ...

Quote:Dear Nakor and DMOC of Holy Rome,

I have to apologize, but we received a request from another team not to sign any deals with your team which would prevent us from going to war if necessary. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot sign Open Borders at the present moment. Perhaps in a little bit we'll be able to do so, when things calm down elsewhere in the world. The desire was genuine on our part.

We have shifted our espionage spending to other targets starting this turn (Turn 176). As part of our agreement, I hope you will do the same. We understand if you do not wish to exchange world maps, and take no offense.

Are you sure that opening bordres makes a 10-turn peace?

Don't know about the 10-turn enforced peace.

What I do know is that Nar Shaddaa has been taken by Korea.
So I suggest we move our stack in and try to retake it for The Empire.
Chendu is underdefenden (2LB, 1CB, 1Archer) so if Korea suffered a lot of losses, we should be able to hit them hard and fast.

Going to try to renew our No-Naval war clausule.

Athlete is going to fund us to Liberalism, so we can keep at 100% science. We need to repay him afterwards, of course, but this is great!

Are you ready to take up the war and explain your decisions? Need to learn a lot regarding war.

OBs doesn't give 10 turns of forced peace.
